Overview

Zùmshèjhíhp Se was founded durring the early 11th century, by Belostomatids Beddoe Goiē̼o Medwin. The establishment of Zùmshèjhíhp Se suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Zùmshèjhíhp Se which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Zùmshèjhíhp Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zùmshèjhíhp Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Zùmshèjhíhp Se is buildings are built arround a single crampt baked earthen mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Zùmshèjhíhp Se's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. Zùmshèjhíhp Se's top tier civilian fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Zùmshèjhíhp Se has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Zùmshèjhíhp Se ’s existence was once fed by scholarly pursuits. But the income once drawn in by the works of scribes and academics has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Everywhere about the town one can see abandoned schools, libraries, and other academic structures. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear the town places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual. Even in these times.

Cultural Notes

Zùmshèjhíhp Se's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

In Zùmshèjhíhp Se the milk never sours.

The Herd Animal, Stag near Zùmshèjhíhp Se are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Zùmshèjhíhp Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 1 via guttural bellowing.
